Catering Manager - Band 3: £9.68 to £11.98, depending on experience
We are a vibrant and expanding school looking to recruit an experienced and friendly Catering Manager to prepare fresh home cooked food for our pupils and staff in our brand new kitchen. Meal numbers are approximately 180 per day across both KS1 and KS2.
This is an important and exciting post which includes cooking and serving high quality, fresh and nutritious home style food using local suppliers and developing a whole school approach to healthy food in line with the School Food Plan.
Candidates must have experience of a similar environment and be experienced in supervising staff. Managing a budget is a key part of the role, as is menu planning, however, as part of our commitment to staff development, training will be available for the right candidate.
We believe that school food is part of our whole school ethos and the post holder can expect to work as part of a committed school team.
