Care Assistant - Fixed term

£17,681 to £18,672 FTE, £12,619 - £13,326 actual salary

32.5 Hours per week, 38 weeks per year

We are recruiting for a care assistant to join our caring and highly competent team of SEN staff!

You will be supporting a named student within the classroom or in intervention programmes. Previous experience is preferred, but you should have a good educational background including at least GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics.

We are looking for a highly motivated applicant and If you are cheerful, energetic, flexible and would like to work with us, we would love to hear from you!

You will:

Attend to students' personal needs, including support in social, welfare, care and health matters, including where appropriate, toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility
Support the students' use of ICT and other skills in developing independence
Support students in physical activities and education where appropriate

This is a fixed term position for the duration of the student's attendance at the school and is required to commence September 2018.

Greensward Academy is an 11-19 comprehensive academy based in Hockley in Essex.
