Pay Range: Leadership Scale L6-L10
Following the promotion of the current Deputy Headteacher to headship, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint a leader with drive and ambition to the position of Deputy Headteacher in our popular and outstanding school for a January 2019start, or earlier if possible.This is an exciting career opportunity for the right candidate to help shape the future of our expanding Church of England school.
We are looking for:
· An outstanding classroom practitioner, willing to share best practice and influence others
· Proven leadership and management skills across the primary age range
. A commitment to contribute and further develop the Christian distinctiveness of our school
· The ability to lead with enthusiasm and energy
· Excellent communication skills
· Commitment and passion for raising standards for all children
· An ability to be innovative and to manage change

Information about the School
Lawford Primary school is in the village of Lawford, situated ten minutes by car to the North East of Colchester. It is expanding year on year to support the growing needs of the local community and the ongoing building development.
