Personnel Manager required from September.
34 hours per week Monday - Friday. 7.30 a.m. start each day with finish times negotiable.
We are seeking to recruit a replacement for our long standing Personnel Manager who is retiring at the end of the summer term, to join a well established, supportive administration team in our large, vibrant school.
Reporting to the School Business Manager, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the accurate and efficient running of the payroll and personnel function for our 230 members of staff, including arranging daily staff cover, managing the recruitment process and being responsible for the statutory returns to the Local Authority and DfE. They will have regular contact with School Managers and Governors and will be a strong communicator with an ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
A sense of humour is a must, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure, and be meticulous in their record keeping. The applicant will ideally have school experience, but training will be given for the right person.
