INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE CURRICULUM MANAGER
Management Allowance TLR 1C
Required from September 2018, I.B. Curriculum Manager.
A rare and unique opportunity has arisen to take on the leadership of the International Baccalaureate and its programmes in this UK state comprehensive school. The school has offered the Diploma since 1973 and was the first state school to do so. It was also the first to offer the I.B. Career-related Certificate in 2010. In 2011 we established an educational trust with our local university, our local branch of the Co-operative Society and our feeder primary schools (plus an infant school). Our ambition is to deliver an international education, underpinned by the IB philosophy in a seamless broad and balanced education. The successful candidate will lead and manage the IB Diploma, supporting this cohort of students whilst supporting the IBCP Co-ordinator, CAS Co-ordinator and Head of Sixth Form in developing our outstanding Sixth Form Curriculum offer.
The Anglo European School is a comprehensive school with a curriculum informed by a strong international dimension. The school also offers the National Curriculum of England and Wales as well as Advanced levels (A levels) in the sixth form. Students can choose to a combination of I.B. subjects with A levels. Baccalaureate principles inform all aspects of the school's provision. The I.B. mission, values and Learner Profile underpin the school's aims and objectives.
All members of the school's staff support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits and exchanges programme.
