Would you like to help lead an amazing team of staff to develop our inspiring children?

Our children are looking for an assistant head teacher to help lead our lovely one form entry Church of England Primary School. Our school is very popular and has been oversubscribed in many year groups.

The school is a Challenge Partner school and has staff trained as OLEVI coaches. We are part of the Tendring Teaching School's Alliance, which enables us to work with a range of local schools and share resources, training and good practice.

The successful candidate will support the Executive Headteacher and Head of School, in achieving the outstanding outcomes to which we aspire. The role is a new role to the school and presents an exceptional opportunity for professional and career development and will undoubtedly offer a route to Headship for the right applicant.

You will be an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of leading a team and making rapid and sustained school improvement.

NPQML/SL is not necessary, but we are looking for someone who has continued to develop themselves through training or post graduate studies. You will need to show leadership experience, the ability to manage change and the capacity to communicate a vision which inspires, grows and challenges the whole school community.

You will be an experienced KS2 teacher with an excellent knowledge of the Key Stage and a good or developing knowledge of KS1.

Working as part of a hub, you will work closely with senior leaders at our sister school St Andrews CofE in Weeley. Working within the Vine academy trust you will have access to bespoke training and leadership opportunities which will support you in your role and into your future.

Rolph Church of England Primary School is a lovely place to work. Our staff work incredibly hard and care for each other. Our children are inspiring and a joy to teach. We could write all about our amazing school, but invite you to come and meet us to find out for yourselves. We are hoping for a September start, but would wait for a January start for the right candidate.

Contact the school to meet with the Head of School who will show you around and answer any questions.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
