We have a fantastic opportunity for an NQT, or more experienced colleague, to join our team in June/July 2018. Starting with us at the change of timetable also means you will benefit from receiving a salary throughout the summer holiday period. A September start will also be considered.
Due to our ever increasing numbers we are now looking to appoint a committed and inspirational teacher. This is as ideal opportunity for those who are seeking their first post as a newly qualified teacher, to join our innovative and highly supportive Academy.
Mathematics is a very well-resourced department with several highly qualified staff, and an excellent track record of mentoring NQTs.
All our NQTs receive a full induction and support package, with a reduced timetable, allocated mentor and half-termly CPD sessions in tandem with other secondary providers in the local authority.
The Ockendon Academy was rated as Good with Outstanding features in 2014 by Ofsted, with behaviour rated as Outstanding. We are an ambitious school with excellent facilities and a track record of training and developing staff.
