Do you have patience, stamina and a creative and flexible approach to helping children learn? We are looking to appoint an LSA to support a Reception aged child who has a diagnosis of ASD. This is a temporary position that will apply while the child attends this school.
An understanding of using visuals such as PECS is desirable but training can be provided. If you enjoy working with children and want to be part of our supportive team, please contact the school to arrange a visit.
St Joseph's is a small school of just 114 pupils and our Catholic ethos permeates everything we do. Children and staff comment on how supportive and caring the whole school community is.
St Joseph's Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
We are considering an am/pm split or a full-time position.
