Do you have a passion for learning? Are you happy to work within and support our Catholic ethos? Can you plan exciting, innovative and engaging lessons to potentially mixed-age classes? Do you want to improve your practice at a school with a strong sense of community and excellent CPD? If so, then St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is the ideal place for you. We are a small school of just 114 pupils so it's no wonder we're often told we are like one big happy family!
We are looking to appoint an innovative part-time teacher from September 2018. We're looking for a mornings only teacher to focus on literacy and maths with a small cohort of just seventeen Year 5 or 6 pupils. We pride ourselves on the high quality CPD, our supportive and fantastic staff team and our strong links to our Catholic Deanery Cluster and Tendring Small School's Alliance.
Our children are enthusiastic learners who enjoy working together in a kind and caring community. The Catholic ethos of the school permeates everything we do and children and staff comment on how supportive and caring the whole school community is. If you want to work at a school where staff well-being is highly valued, where you will be encouraged to develop as a teacher, be able to take risks in planning innovative and exciting learning, which reflects your passion and interests, and be part of a high performing team, then please contact the school to organise a visit and we will warmly welcome you.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and as such, this post is subject to a successful enhanced disclosure check.
Please contact the school office for an application pack.
