We require an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable individual to manage and develop our busy catering service. The role is for 27 1/2 hours per week, 9am-2.30pm, Mon-Fri, term time only plus non pupil days. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a good sense of humour. In return we can offer a happy, enthusiastic school and a friendly and supportive team.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of managing a kitchen and staff
- Have a knowledge of nutrition and a genuine interest and willingness to trial different ideas to enthuse our children to enjoy healthy, home cooked food
- Have a good knowledge of Health and Safety
- Have a good business sense and be able to build relationships with suppliers to achieve value for money
