SEN LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (KEY WORKER)

Job Description

25 hours per week - Term time only

Band 2 Point 11-14

We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic and caring person with SEN experience to support children in the school with special educational needs. You would work alongside the school SENCO and Class Teachers.

You should have:-

· A good standard of written and spoken English

· Good numeracy skills

· Understanding of Individual Targets and how to support children within a mainstream classroom

· Ability to follow plans from speech and language therapists and ECHPs

· Understanding of personal care

· Previous experience of working with SEN children preferable

· Experience of working with children with ASD in a school environment
