Holy Trinity C of E (VC) Primary School is seeking to appoint a new Head Teacher to lead this Voluntary Controlled Church school forward.
Our children, staff, parents and governors are looking for an inspirational and exceptional leader to take the school from a 'Good' to 'Outstanding' rating with Ofsted.
We are looking for a talented, inspiring and energetic new Headteacher to join the school from September 2018/January 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative teacher who has aspirations to lead a successful school on a journey of continuous improvement and development, building on the good foundations laid by the previous Headteacher and his staff team.
You will have:
- strong leadership and management skills and a drive to achieve excellence, working with all stakeholders to develop and deliver a clear vision for the future of the school.
- the ability to establish effective relationships and to communicate well with staff, pupils, parents and governors
- the ability to motivate, challenge and support and to work as part of an organised team
- a commitment to strategic thinking and planning focused on ensuring the best attainment for each child, building upon the school's achievements to date
- a commitment to being outstanding in pastoral care and behaviour management, and a holistic approach to enabling children to flourish and fulfil their potential
- a growth mind-set with the confidence to consider and explore relevant new school improvement initiatives, and to learn from others
- the ability to build effective relationships with the communities/families that exist around the school.
- the management skills to work with the governing body and others in exploring options for academisation and leading delivery of any resulting changes that are agreed.
- a commitment to fostering the distinctive ethos of a church school.
