Legra Trust (made up of three Academies, Belfairs, Cecil Jones and Darlinghurst) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated professional to inspire and enthuse our students to meet their aspirational targets throughout the Trust to be based at Cecil Jones Academy.

The successful candidate will deliver learning experiences relevant to the Silver Pathway, providing support for a group of children through a carefully structured timetable that balances learning, affection and structure within a caring home-like environment/atmosphere. You will work with classroom teachers to monitor the progress of students, ensuring the reduction in barriers to learning, increase in inclusion in mainstream and secure excellent progress for all pupils. You will also be developing positive partnerships with parents/carers and support them to develop their child's learning outside the school.

You will have a strong commitment to inclusive education, have had some experience of, or training in, learning strategies, and have the ability to supervise and support the teaching activities of individuals or groups of young people. The role will include meeting a range of needs of individuals and groups of students both in the classroom and by working with external agencies.
