We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Cook to join our Catering Team. We are committed to providing healthy, nutritious and tasty food to our pupils.
The successful applicant will have experience in assisting the preparation and production of meals, food service, utensil and dish washing, general cleaning and other associated catering tasks. A level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate would be desirable. Uniform is also provided. Applications for part time hours are welcome.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (previously CRB) will be required for this post together with at least 2 written references.

The Ortu Federation is made up of Ortu Corringham Primary School, Ortu Gable Hall School, Ortu Hassenbrook and the Ortu Stanford and Corringham Sixth Form Centre. Teaching opportunities are available from KS1 to KS5 across the Trust.
