Working Hours 07:00-10:00, 14:00-18:00
There will be a requirement to occasionally work outside of these hours to accommodate the needs of the school.
Due to the retirement of our long standing Caretaker, the Governing Body and team at St Andrews are seeking to appoint a replacement who will continue to ensure we provide a safe, clean and pleasant environment in which our children can learn. The ideal candidate will be friendly, hardworking, reliable and self-motivated. They will set themselves high standards to ensure the operation of the schools' buildings, grounds and equipment facilitate the smooth running of our school.
Among the duties included, the successful candidate will be able to undertake cleaning, furniture removal, decorating, heating plant operation, basic repairs and maintenance and supervision of the cleaning team and also liaison with external contractors on site.
The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience and be suitable to work with children. You should be familiar with both Health & Safety legislation and COSHH requirements and additionally be educated to English and Maths Level 2 or equivalent.

Information about the School
St Andrew’s CE Primary School is situated in the village of North Weald, close to Harlow. There are currently 276 pupils, age 4 – 11 years on roll. The majority of our pupils live in the village of North Weald.
The school is situated in extensive, well maintained grounds. The building houses a modern reception area, large hall, library, computer suite, group room and well-resourced classrooms. We also have an outdoor swimming pool that is used extensively in the summer months.
