We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational SENDCo to work 3 days per week, starting in September 2018. The role will be non-class based and the SENDCo will be responsible for leading and managing SEND and inclusion in the school including supporting planning and implementation of interventions, analysing data and liaising effectively with outside agencies.
Ingrave Johnstone C of E Primary School provides a calm and happy environment which enables children to learn and teachers to teach. Our new SENDCo will join a committed and hardworking team who strive to provide the best education and outcomes for all children.
Previous SENDCo experience is preferable, the candidate should have a teaching qualification, SENDCo Accreditation or be prepared to work towards it over the next 3 years.
The successful candidate will need:
be able to take a strong lead in the area of SEND across the school
a thorough knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
to ensure that support for SEND pupils enables them to achieve their full potential
to demonstrate excellent time management organisational and interpersonal skills.
to be passionate about delivering high quality inclusive teaching and learning.
