Teaching Assistant Vacancy 27 ½ hours/week- permanent contract
Band 2 point 11 -14 depending on experience (£8.82/hour - £9.16/hour)
Tollesbury is a friendly, village school that has strong links with the local community. We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work with our children in either KS1 or KS2. Applicants will need to be willing to work as a general class teaching assistant, with small groups or individual children, including those with additional needs. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working in a school and must have gained a GCSE pass (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
We are looking for someone who is able to follow teacher direction but also use their initiative when necessary. They will be able to enthuse our children and help to instil a love of learning.
