Due to the retirement of the current post holder Great Berry Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated senior HLTA to join our caring, supportive and friendly team. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
The applicant will need:
· HLTA status or equivalent
· GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
· Excellent communication skills
· Highly organised and able to manage their time effectively.
· The skills and experience to manage classes and the ability to lead and teach whole class and group lessons across the primary age range
· Able to think creatively to make learning exciting and relevant to all our pupils.
· A reflective practitioner, dedicated to developing students' abilities
· Knowledge of Year 6 curriculum and current KS2 assessment requirements.
· Flexibility and adaptability whilst working with others
· Capacity to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion
· To cover PPA and teaching staff absence
· To attend staff meetings, training days, parent consultations and liaise with our SENDCO and team of support staff
