This vacancy is for the role of Assistant Headteacher at Alton Park Junior School but will have aspects which extend across the Trust giving the opportunity to have responsibilities across more than one school. Alton Park is a large Junior School with a 4 form entry and is situated on the outskirts of the town centre on a large site with a much improved learning environment.

The Head and Governors are looking to appoint an inspirational and motivated teacher to support the Head and Deputy Head in:-
a) Formulating the aims and objectives of the school;
b) Establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved;
c) Managing staff and resources to that end;
d) Monitoring progress towards their achievement;
Principle Accountabilities:-
· Behaviour Management;
· Educational Visits Co-ordinator;
· Safeguarding Officer.
