Band 2 Point 11 - 16 Actual Salary Range £10,889 - £12,000 p.a (Pay award pending)
30 hours per week 8:30 - 3:30 Monday - Friday
Mildmay Junior School is seeking to appoint a friendly, motivated, confident person to join our resource base for hearing impaired pupils as a specialist learning support assistant. The successful candidate will be an animated and enthusiastic communicator with experience of working within a school. They will be able to strike the right balance between meeting the communication and learning needs of pupils and facilitating their independence to ensure a fulfilling school experience. They will have an ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a specialist team within a mainstream school and to liaise with other, external professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within deaf education as part of cohesive and friendly team where everyone makes a difference and is valued.

Mildmay Primary School is the result of a merger between the two long-standing and successful Mildmay schools that have provided primary education to the community for over 50 years.
