SENCO and Inclusion Manager part-time 0.4 (2 days)
MPR/UPS
Required to start September 2018 but sooner if possible
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated SENCo to join our friendly team.
The SENCo is a crucial member of staff with responsibility for all aspects of leading and managing SEN & Inclusion in the school, including analysing data, supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies.
There will be opportunity for support and training through the local SEN cluster and working alongside other SENCos in local schools as part of the Billericay Teaching Schools Alliance.
The successful candidate will need:
Relevant previous experience as a SENCo, the National Award for SEN Co-ordination or be prepared to work towards it over the next 3 years.
Excellent time management, organisation and inter-personal skills
A thorough knowledge of the Code of Practice
Have a passion for high quality inclusive teaching and learning
