CLASS TEACHER WITH TLR2 FOR LEADING COMPUTING
For September 2018
We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking teacher to lead on all aspects of computing at this exciting time for our school.
As Computing Lead you will:
· have responsibility for ensuring that the computing curriculum is fully embedded across the school as well as the cross-curricular use of technology to enhance learning.
· ensure that provision, standards and achievement in the subject are at least good and aspire to make them outstanding.
· develop the school's use of social media and further develop the school website to ensure it is current, vibrant and Ofsted compliant.
· develop and deliver a plan to enhance access to technology across the school and to ensure a rolling programme of replacement and upgrade.
· liaise with other members of school staff and outside providers to ensure high quality provision.
The successful candidate will have:
· at least consistently good classroom practice
experience of the effective leadership and management of a curriculum area: computing would be an advantage
evidence of a commitment to the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning
effective communication skills both orally and in writing
good interpersonal and people management skills: able to inspire, motivate and lead
by example.
