Tendring Technology College is to provide secondary enhanced provision for students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions in North East Essex. The Centres will provide for up to 15 high functioning autistic students to enable them to access mainstream provision. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to assist in this new innovative venture working alongside the Autism Support Centre staff. We are looking to appoint a motivated person who has experience with Autistic students to assist with supporting students, enrolled in the centre, during the lunch period.

Tendring Technology is a key member of The Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-Academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them. The College attained Teaching School status in July 2014 and is a large successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, which has two campuses; Frinton Campus (KS4 & KS5) and Thorpe Campus (KS3) with approx. 5 miles between sites.

Tendring Technology College (TTC) serves a wide catchment area in the Tendring District that is a mix of rural and coastal environment with easy access to the vibrant town of Colchester with London Liverpool Street a straightforward train journey. TTC is unique in that it is a split site College with approximately 1900 students. The Thorpe campus is dedicated to our Key Stage 3 students and nearly 5 miles away is the Frinton campus for our Key Stage 4 and 5 students.
