SEN LSA Position - Full-Time, Fixed Term

Required as soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a qualified Learning Support Assistant, on a fixed term, to work specifically with a KS2 child. This will be a 1 to 1 post. The school has a supportive staff team who are committed to improving learning outcomes for pupils.

The post will be 27.5 hours per week (8:30am-12:00pm - 1:10-3:10pm) Monday - Friday, 39 weeks per year. Band 2 Point 11 - Actual Salary £9,981

The successful candidate will:-

· Ideally have experience of working with a pupil 1 to 1;

· Have NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent;

· Be committed to raising pupil achievement;

· Have high expectations of all children;

· Recognise the importance of and be committed to home/school partnerships;

· Be able to work effectively as a team and value teamwork;

· Ideally have experience of working with children with ASD/ADHD;

· Be able to use their own initiative;

· Be enthusiastic and consistent with your approach;

· Have a good sense of humour!
