Band 2 point 14, 32.5 hours/week, term time.
A great opportunity has arisen for a specialist behaviour support role to work with children with social and emotional wellbeing difficulties in an innovative provision based in Lyons Hall Primary School. Are you ready for an exciting new challenge supporting the needs of children in the Braintree area? If you have the skills and previous experience this may be for you. You will need to have bags of energy, patience and resilience be able to work in a small team.
This post is offered on a three year contract with the possibility of extending depending on funding.
GROW is an alternative education provision for a small number of children KS1 or KS2 who are not progressing in their current school because of the barriers caused by behaviour, emotional needs or social difficulties. GROW provides each child with a curriculum planned for their individual needs. This is monitored and reviewed carefully. Children work within the designated GROW learning space and within an identified mainstream class (when appropriate) in the main school.

Lyons Hall Primary school is a popular and successful Braintree school. It is the first school of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust which also includes Braiswick Primary in Colchester and White Hall Academy in Clacton-On-Sea.
