An enthusiastic catering assistant is required to join our friendly kitchen team. We have a busy and successful kitchen, serving an average of 300 freshly cooked meals per day. The new catering assistant will work from 11am until 2pm each day from Monday to Friday and will undertake a variety of duties including food preparation and keeping the work, serving areas and dining hall clean and tidy. Experience in a kitchen is desirable but full training will be given. The successful candidate will need to show the potential to cover for the assistant cook in the case of absence of other team members and must have the aptitude to achieve a level 2 qualification in food hygiene.
