Job Description
The Castle View School in partnership with Canvey Junior School, Canvey Island Infant School and William Read Primary School are working closely together to share best practice and resources. We are looking to appoint four Attendance Ambassadors to support the improving attendance and pastoral support in our schools.
The successful candidates will:
· Have an understanding of barriers that restrict a child from attending school, and a professional approach to working with school staff, students, and parents to identify possible solutions.
· Work alongside Attendance Staff in prompting regular school attendance.
· Assist in home visits where pupils have failed to attend their school, and when required, undertake with school staff "Late on the Gate" practise at schools to encourage punctuality.
The role will require the ability for flexible working hours at certain times during the terms, and you must be mobile to work across the local area.
These are newly created posts that will require applicants to have an Enhanced DBS Check.
Application forms are available from the school website or via email -karen.eaton@castleview.essex.sch.uk
