Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) (Permanent Role) for January 2018

Location: Leigh Beck Junior School, Canvey Island

Salary: Monday - Friday - 32.5 hours per week - 38 weeks per year - term time only

Band 3 Point 21 -25 (Actual salary pro-rata £14,622 - £16,452)

Leigh Beck Junior School is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and committed HLTA to complement the professional work of our teachers. The successful candidate will be the consistent lead practitioner across our extended school provision, overseeing the day to day running of both the Breakfast Club and After School Club, working with a dedicated and skilled team, under the guidance of the Deputy Head Teacher.

Please apply if you:

· Meet the Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience.

· Have excellent numeracy/literacy skills - educated to a minimum of GCSE C in Maths and English

· Can use ICT effectively

· Have a working knowledge and experience of implementing national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategies

· Ability to lead and motivate a team

· Able to develop positive relationships with children and adults
