HEAD OF MATHEMATICS
TLR 1B
Required from September 2018; an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Mathematics to lead our highly successful Mathematics Department. The person appointed will be expected to teach Mathematics across all Key Stages including 'A' Level and there may be an opportunity to teach the International Baccalaureate for interested candidates.
In 2017, our Mathematics department achieved 47% 9-5 / 78% 9-4 at GCSE with 99% 9-1. It is also a very popular subject in our outstanding sixth form with 47% of our students taking a mathematics qualification. (2017 A2 Results: ALPS 2, 55% A*-B, Maths IBS 43% 5+ and Maths Studies 76% 5++
