Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced, flexible and outstandingLearning Support Assistant to join our team inKey Stage 2. Duties would involve supporting pupils with reading, writing and maths skills, general classroom supportand a half hour lunchtime playground duty. The successful candidate must provide evidence of the following:

GCSE Grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent in English and Maths
Positive approach to the role and behaviour management
Understanding of how pupils learn
Knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum across the Key Stages in a primary school, including EYFS

Hours would be 8.45am to 12.15pmand 1.10pm to 3.15pm term time plus training days.
