SEND and SLT Administration Assistant required
Purford Green and Potter Street Academyare seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic SEND and SLTAdministrator to work across both primary schools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an outstanding administrative service to the SEND Co-ordinator and the Senior Leadership Team.
General dutiesinclude; typing and circulating documents, taking and receiving phone calls, making diary appointments, taking minutes, record keeping, updating the school's App and website as well as overseeing Primary Health and Safety tasks.
The successful applicant will:
Have at least 3years' experience of working in a school
Have GCSE / O-Level Grades A* to C in English and Maths or equivalent
Have excellent written and oral communication skills
Have greatinter-personal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Have knowledge of relevant SEND procedures and legislation
Be self-motivatedand well organised
Be able to cope with deadlines
Be able to use Word, Excel and Outlook to a high standard
Be able to work on their own initiative
Desirable Criteria:
Have work experience in a similar or same role in an administrative capacity
Have experience of Sims Database, and other education data sets
Have experience of workingwith young people with SEND
Monday to Friday - 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary: Band 3 point 17 (full range point 17 - 25) £17,722.00 plus £585.00 fringe allowance per annum
Actual pro rata salary £12,208.57 per annum plus pro rata fringe allowance £403.00 per annum
