ICT Technician
Required November 2018
Part time - 30 hours per week (8.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.)
Band 3 to midpoint (Points 17-21)
Term Time plus 1 week (39 weeks per year)
This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful school. We are seeking to appoint an ICT Technician to take responsibility for the varied aspects of ICT provision in our school, including supporting both staff and pupils. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage the security and day to day running of our network. The role also involves being responsible for the general maintenance of our computers, interactive whiteboards, printers, visualisers and projectors, as well as 'troubleshooting' day to day issues. The successful applicant will also support children's learning in Computing in the classrooms.
We are looking for someone who

- has excellent time management skills and is able to meet deadlines
- has excellent ICT skills and knowledge (including the ability to carry out any necessary cabling, diagnose hardware issues and carry out repairs as necessary)
- has knowledge of Windows 2008 Server Maintenance and network management (wired and wireless)
- can take direction but also shows initiative
- has a sense of humour alongside excellent interpersonal skills
- can respect confidentiality at all times.
