Our happy and successful school is seeking a Bursar. Applications are sought for an experienced, motivated and proactive individual to work as a key member of our leadership team
You will:
- oversee a financial system that is efficient, secure, solvent and provides the school with best value for money.
- provide the Headteacher and Governors with the financial information that allows them to make informed decisions concerning the financial management of the school - attending Governing Body meetings as required.
- have oversight of the school premises and manage the workload of the Premises staff.
- lead the implementation of major site improvements.
- oversee all matters relating to support staff personnel.

Experience of working in a school environment, whilst advantageous, is not essential. Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.
Full time position (term-time) (37 hours per week - term-time including non-pupil days - 39 weeks per year)
Starting salary- LGS Band 5- Point 35 Actual Salary - £26,894 [fte £31,370]
The starting date is flexible for the right candidate.

Long Ridings Primary School, a popular and thriving two-form entry primary school with 388 pupils. It is a great place to work.
