Legra Trust (made up of three Academies, Belfairs, Cecil Jones and Darlinghurst) is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to be based at Cecil Jones Academy.
We are looking to increase our pool of Invigilators, to work within the Academy to invigilate both internal and public exams.
Duties will include team invigilating large groups of students; quiet unobtrusive patrolling of examination room to ensure candidates are obeying Board regulations; close visual and aural observation of students; collection and return of examination paperwork and stationery plus any other duties an invigilator could be expected to undertake. Training will be provided.
(For the right candidate there are opportunities for increased responsibilities as a Senior Invigilator at a higher hourly rate.)
Applicants should have good communication and organisation skills, be well presented, punctual and reliable.
Whilst this is a flexible post with hours to suit your availability throughout the year, there is an expectation that you will be available during busy periods such as the summer public exams.
