Trust Human Resources Officer
Required November 2017
Salary: Band 4 point 12-20 (£17,553 - £22,101 fte)
Band 5 would be considered for candidates who have relevant experience or qualified/working towards a CIPD qualification
Hours: 30-35 per week (Mon-Fri)
(39 weeks of the year, inclusive of training days plus 2 additional weeks)
Due to further expansion of the Trust we are seeking to appoint an accomplished HR Officer with excellent interpersonal skills to join our central Human Resources team.
The successful candidate will report to the Trust HR Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional officer who ideally has experience of working in a school or education sector and have an ability to manage their workload in a rapidly changing environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent inter personal skills and will be very organised as the role will involve dealing with a variety of daily challenges, with no two days being the same. You will liaise with colleagues and third parties, including auditors and work collaboratively with staff in our trust schools.
The role will involve all areas of personnel including recruitment, managing sickness, absence and overtime, advisory in line with policy and pension returns working closely with the Trust HR manager to ensure our legal responsibilities are carried out.
