Science Technician

£13,360 - £17,020 (actual salary) (inclusive of Living Wage Foundation discretionary allowance)

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (including one week holiday working)

Greensward Academy has a vacancy for a science technician, preferably chemistry, to join a friendly Science Department of 9 science teachers and two science technicians. We have modern science classrooms and two purpose built science prep rooms.

Greensward Academy will apply the National Living Wage of £8.45 per hour to your salary.

Information about the School

Greensward Academy is an 11-19 comprehensive academy based in Hockley in Essex. It is part of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential. The academy is graded Good by Ofsted and its results are strong, particularly in the Sixth Form which is in the top 3% nationally and top in Essex according to DfE Post 16 Performance Tables.
