Catering Manager
Salary band 4 Point 12-20
(£14,868 - £18,802 pro rata depending on experience and qualifications) 37 hours per week, Term Time Only
NVQ Level 3 in catering or equivalent essential
CIEH Level 3 desirable
Are you enthusiastic about cooking and ready for the challenge of being a Catering Manager within a school environment? Then this is an exciting opportunity for you to come and work with our friendly hard-working staff.
We are looking for someone who can:
organise all catering duties, including preparing food, portion control and the provision of special dietary meals
maintain budgets, sales, overhead costs and daily accounts
supervise, direct, develop and recruit staff including induction and training
plan menus
ensure best value; quality and stock control
ensure all regulations are adhered to
Experience of working in a school environment and supervising staff essential.
