A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic, hard-working and adaptable full time Learning Support Assistant at this Special School for children with moderate and complex needs aged 5 to 16 years. The post is to start from September 2017.
Daily hours are generally from 8.45 am to 4.00 pm (4.30 pm on Mondays and 3.30 pm on Fridays), 39 working weeks per year plus holiday allowance. Pay is within band 2 points 11-16.
We have a committed, friendly and supportive staff and are seeking someone with a sense of humour, excellent communication and organisation skills and who is willing to work as part of a team.
Information about the School
In September 2023 Endeavour Co-operative Academy will be a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.
