OPERATIONS MANAGER REQUIRED
Salary: Local Government Payscale, Band 7, within the Range 30-35, depending upon experience £29,343- £34,037 per annum pro rata, actual salary £26,408.70-£30,633.30
Contract Type: 37 hours per week, term time including inset days plus 3 weeks' holiday working
Contract Term: Permanent

The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our happy committed team to ensure the efficient and effective running of all non-teaching services throughout Tilbury Pioneer Academy. You will be responsible for the day to day running of administration, site, cleaning, grounds maintenance, catering, technical, reprographics, lettings, procurement and communications services of Tilbury Pioneer Academy. Working with the academy's leadership team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices. This position will also interact with the Board of Directors as required.
This key role is crucial to our success and is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated individual who; • Has excellent organisation and strategic management skills with an ability to work at all levels; • Has the ability to build effective working relationships with governors, school staff, parents and the office team • Has experience of school budget setting and monitoring • Has excellent communication skills and is a team player with a positive approach • Has the ability to lead, operate, maintain and develop the financial procedures and systems of the school in co-
operation with Senior Leaders and Governors • Is hard working and committed to continual improvement • Has a good sense of humour
