We are looking to appoint a full time Learning Support Assistant, term time only, for a Reception child with a physical disability. This is intially a fixed contract until 31/08/18.
Experience is an advantage but not essential. The candidate must have an understanding of how to support a child with impaired balance. They must be willing to think of strategies to encourage class participation and also be able to keep her safe when climbing or in active situations.
Successful candidates will develop this child's ability to take part in all activities and monitor and remove health and safety concerns as they occur. They will also be sensitive to the needs of the child and other children in the class.
Successful candidates will be flexible, able to work as part of a team and confident to liaise with outside agencies.
