Band 3 Point 9

30 hours per week, term time only

8:45-3:15 (30 mins lunch break)

Actual Salary : £11,116.06

St Clere's Co-operative Academy Trust wishes to appoint a SEN Learning Support Assistant committed to raising standards at Stanford Le Hope Primary School, who were judged to be a 'good school' following an Ofsted inspection in April 2017.

Our aim is to provide an outstanding education for all of our children.

You will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in line with the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures.

The candidates will preferably have relevant NVQ qualifications or equivalent. They must have a good standard of English and Mathematics and basic computer skills.

Desirable criteria:

Strong behaviour management skills
Experience of supporting pupils with a range of needs e.g. Aspergers, Autism, ADHD, speech and / or language difficulties
Knowledge of successful strategies to engage pupils with specific and significant needs
Experience of the EYFS and / or KS1 curriculum
Flexible and adaptable with timetabling and the daily routines
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with parents and relevant staff
