We are a popular school in beautiful surroundings, looking to recruit friendly catering staff to support our in-house school kitchen. We believe that school food is part of our whole school ethos and we strive to ensure that our children have a happy and positive experience at lunchtime.
There are two posts: 16.25 hours p.w., 10.15 am - 1.30 pm and 8.75 hours p.w., 11.45 am - 1.30 pm. Term time only
You will work as part of a team so good teamwork and personal skills are essential. Ideally you will have some catering / kitchen experience but more important is a happy disposition as we will give training to the right person - the duties are varied and involve food preparation, serving pupils with their lunch and helping them make healthy choices, clearing away, washing up and general cleaning duties.

Information about the School
Stapleford Abbotts School was built in 1887 and has been an important part of village life since its establishment. Over the past ten years, the school has become popular and there has been considerable amount of refurbishment and new build. The school attracts children from a wide catchment area and from the neighbouring London Boroughs of Redbridge, Dagenham, and Havering. We are committed to. Involving the wider community with school life and work closely with other agencies including other rural schools in the Epping area.
