Due to the retirement of our current admin assistant, we are looking for someone new to join the team in our busy school office. The successful candidate will:
- Be flexible in approach
- Have the ability to work as part of a team
- Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Have English, Maths and Science GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Have good computer skills
- Keep Calm and Carry On………….whatever happens!!!
No two days are ever the same in a school office. Previous experience of working in a school office and/or of working in an admin role in another field would be an advantage, although not essential.
Working hours will be 8.30-4.00 (with half an hour lunch break), Monday to Friday, making a total of 35 hours per week, term time only, plus all non-pupil days (5 per academic year).
The salary for this position will be £12,704-£13,730 depending on prior experience.
Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.

Acorn Academy is a large infant school with three classes in each year group and the added benefit of a nursery and a specialist speech and language provision.
