Learning Support Assistant for a Child with an EHCP
We are looking for a dedicated individual who would relish the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 4 child. You will need to be able to support the child to be included in the classroom but also need to use your initiative for those times when being 'inclusive' is too much and a quiet time or a sporting outlet is required!

You will need to have previous experience of working with children with special educational needs, adaptable to the needs of the child and the classroom, to be able to communicate clearly and calmly, to set and keep to expectations.
A bagful of energy along with a sense of humour and smile is of course always useful!
We would expect the successful candidate to have experience of working with children with special educational needs, the equivalent of Maths and English at GSCE grade C or above. A teaching assistant qualification or other relevant qualifications would be considered desirable.
Mon to Fri equivalent to 18 ½ hours contract.
