Due to the retirement of the current post holder, The Endeavour School is seeking a new Administration Manager. The role involves the management of a small, highly efficient team that supports the effective running of this Special School for pupils with moderate learning difficulties. We are looking for an Administration Manager who will demonstrate an organised, pro-active approach to all aspects of their role, working closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team & Finance Officer. The role involves line management of administration and catering staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisation, communication and IT skills. They will be familiar with school management and ECC payroll systems, recruitment and HR.

The Endeavour School has recently embarked on the process to convert to academy status and was deemed to be a 'Good' school by OFSTED in December 2015.

Salary scale - Band 4 point 26 (£22,984) - point 34 (£29,584) pro rata.

School term plus 10 days (41 weeks per annum), plus holiday pay according to service entitlement.

37 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm (includes 30 minutes lunch).

Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm (includes 30 minutes lunch).

In September 2023 Endeavour Co-operative Academy will be a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.
