We are looking to appoint a Nursery Nurse to support in our delightful Early Years Foundation Stage class. The position is part time, 25 hours per week. Suitable applicants will need to be able to work as part of a team following a structured programme of learning. Applicants should be organised and show initiative and flexibility, be patient and understand the very confidential nature of this role. The successful candidate must have NNEB certification, GCSE English and maths at grades A-C or an equivalent qualification. Preferably the successful candidate will also be NVQ level 3 qualified. Experience would be an advantage but is not as important to us as a caring attitude and commitment to the role. In addition the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work alongside the staff of Canewdon Primary School as both schools are part of a Federation. We are a small, successful and friendly Church of England Primary school in Rayleigh that firmly believes that every child has amazing potential and that we need to work together to give all children the best possible education and care. We are part of a Federation with Canewdon Endowed CofE (VC) Primary School. We value the individuality of each school, whilst we also believe that it is vital that we share expertise and resources effectively in order to survive and thrive as small schools. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across the federation and travel between schools when necessary, such as during shared training sessions.
We are pleased to confirm that we have now joined the Berlesduna Multi-Academy Trust; as our academy conversion finally went ahead on 1st December 2023.
