Catering and Hospitality Manager

Job Description

30hrs per week, 40 weeks per year + holiday pay

Salary Band 3 p 21- 25 (£10.34 - £11.63 per hour - more for an exceptional candidate) (£13,844 - £15,561 actual salary)

We are a vibrant and happy school in a thriving community close to Chelmsford and Southend looking to recruit an experienced and friendly catering manager to prepare fresh home cooked food for our pupils.

This is a new post and an exciting time for an experienced caterer to join our school to develop and lead our catering strategy. It is likely that candidates will have a strong background in catering management with experience of working in a school or retail catering environment.

You will be responsible for developing our in house school meal and hospitality provision across our large successful school. You must have excellent leadership skills as well as a firm understanding of sales development coupled with an understanding of the national school food agenda.

This is an important evolving role within our school and the successful candidate would be joining us at an exciting stage in our school catering strategy. We are committed to staff development.
