Hours are 9am - 3.20pm (45mins break)
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a specialist subject to pupils across the primary age arrange at Lubbins Park Primary Academy.
You will be a talented, passionate specialist in either Art/Design/Food Tech/Modern Foreign Language or Religious Education or someone with a keen interest in these subjects.
Your responsibilities will include the planning and delivery of a daily lesson in this specialist subject to pupils across the school. In addition to this you will be deployed to support the learning of groups and individual pupils across the school as the need arises and at times cover classes in the short term absence of a teacher.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility, the ability to plan and deliver lessons to a whole class; self-motivation; confidence and the relevant subject knowledge and skills to improve pupil achievement. A good awareness of positive behaviour management strategies is essential.
The academy will support the post holder to achieve a nationally recognised HLTA qualification if they do not already hold this together with high quality coaching and mentoring by a member of the leadership team.
We are able to offer a laptop and dedicated PPA time.
