The governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated person to help lead our school community and continue to drive forward and improve the expectations of our children.
We are looking for:
· An ambitious and energetic practising Catholic with a strong faith and a deep commitment to Catholic Education.
· A person who values all children as individuals and ensures that all children are confident and able to achieve their full potential.
· A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning with high expectations of best practice in all areas of the school.
· Someone who encourages, enthuses and motivates the school community through excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
· Some experience of school finance and budget setting.
· A candidate who can run the school effectively on a day to day basis whilst working in partnership with the Executive Headteacher.

Information about the School
We are a Federation of two schools, St. Joseph's, South Woodham Ferrers and St. Francis, Maldon. We are a forward-thinking Federation committed to high standards for all our children. The vast majority of our teachers are experienced and staff turn over is low. Our teachers provide support and challenge to develop independence in a safe, enjoyable and caring environment.
