An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Humanities department for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Teacher of Religious Studies to deliver stimulating, rigorous teaching to students at KS3, GCSE and A-Level.
We are a high performing, oversubscribed 11-19 Academy which is constantly challenging itself to improve even further, and is expanding due to a large increase in the number of students on role from September 2017. At the Ockendon Academy RS is considered a key part of the curriculum and all students study this subject to GCSE level.
The successful candidate will have an unwavering belief in the potential of every student to succeed within RS, and will have the contagious enthusiasm for the subject which excites and motivates students across all Key Stages. You will work with an innovative team of staff to develop a 'Centre of Excellence'.
